An independent management consultant since 1988 specialising in human resources, employee benefits, management development and training issues. Gained expertise in these areas at practical and strategic levels as a General Manager, Personnel & Administration, in the pharmaceutical industry which he joined in 1974. Was a leading contributor on many pharmaceutical industry human resource initiatives. Initial 13 years of career was in insurance, latterly as one of the industry's youngest general managers. Qualified as a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a founder associate member of the Pensions Management Institute.
An independent consultant since 1996, following a 26 year long career in corporate human resource roles initially in the chemical, mineral and cement industries and latterly in pharmaceutical companies. Experience gained in training and development, employee relations and remuneration and benefits for both operational and head office functions, as well as recruitment of management and professional staff up to board level. A graduate and CIPD qualified, he is also a British Psychological Society registered user of psychometric tests.
Celia’s early career was spent with a leading pharmaceutical company where she gained a wide variety of experience as HR Manager variously responsible for R&D sites, an IT centre and a distribution operation. Latterly she was based in the company’s UK HQ. Prior to joining EJJH in 2011 Celia spent 15 years as an independent HR Consultant/Interim HR Manager. Assignments were mainly with pharmaceutical companies, including Takeda, Menarini and Daiichi. Celia’s main client was GSK where she spent 10 years as a consultant for a variety of Pharma, Consumer and Corporate functions. Within EJJH, in addition to search assignments, Celia also undertakes HR consultancy projects.
A human resource consultant with twenty years' HR experience. Personnel career covers the pharmaceutical industry and market research, operating at board level and spanning the whole range of personnel activities. Recruitment experience includes professional and managerial staff to board level. A graduate and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Elizabeth has recently retired as a partner of EJJH but still acts as a part-time consultant.
Micheline and Ann, both with 30 years experience in HR and pharmaceutical industry recruitment, were founding partners of EJJH. Both have retired from day-to-day activities but Micheline remains a consultant to the partnership particularly in the area of medic recruitment.
Experienced administration managers both with over 20 years' involvement in the pharmaceutical industry and recruitment consultancy. With an extensive knowledge of the people and issues in the pharmaceutical industry, Shirley and Alison are often the first contact for clients and candidates, providing advice and information to support the team.
David has over 30 years experience in the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare sector, operating at local, regional and global levels and in multi-cultural environments. David’s career has been varied, having been a Director in both Human Resources and Marketing functions before starting his own consultancy business in 2004. Clients have included the largest global companies as well as small to medium organizations, covering Human Resources, Marketing and Sales, and Learning and Development assignments. Along the way he has recruited staff from complete sales teams to Board Directors; he has been a lead trainer on marketing and sales excellence and market access programmes as well as first line management skills; he has launched brands and led global commercial improvement projects and a clinical development re-engineering project. David brings his broad experience and passion for people development to identifying the best possible candidates for clients.
